Runways
can assist your public transportation system in a number of
areas, ranging from preparing five to ten year Transit
Development Plans, reviewing route networks for improvements in
productivity, analyzing schedule performance, and applying the
latest in Advanced Public Transportation Systems and Intelligent
Transportation Systems to improve customer service, operations,
and overall efficiency.
Our
team of transit planners has a combined experience of over 70
years in the industry. Through
our own operation, we are pioneering the use of Advanced
Passenger Transportation Systems for passenger reservations,
passenger service (such as on-board internet hot spots) and
operations management.
Our
recent work includes projects in the following cities:

with Nelson\Nygaard to evaluate the optimal pattern of
local service to complement the BRT service on the
corridor.
