Discount Fares Now Require 7-Day Advance Purchase

May 23, 2008

Between October 2007 and March 2008, Runways' diesel fuel bill has increased by 43 percent. Runways is doing everything possible to avoid raising our fares in order to pay for this increased expense.    As part of this effort, the Company has re-evaluated its discount fare program and is making one significant change.

Effective June 1, 2008, all discount fares, including the Bring Someone for 1/2 Price special, must be purchased AT LEAST 7 FULL DAYS IN ADVANCE OF INITIAL TRAVEL if there are discount seats still available.  Previously discounted fares could be purchased three days in advance of initial travel.  This change will allow us to still offer our lowest fares for now, but just will require our guests to purchase their tickets further in advance.

Discounted seats may be limited on individual trips, and will not be available at all on peak or high-peak days.  Guests are encouraged to make their reservations as early as possible this summer, as the Company does expect to raise fares across the board in the next few months as fuel prices continue to rise.  You can make your reservations here on line at www.rnwy.com or call Runways' toll free at 1-800-578-6929.
